This
antenna is a broadband coaxial vertical traveling wave . Designed
for use on HF radio frequencies from 2 to 30 mhz. It is designed
in a manner to enable it to be operated with minimum skill and
effort.
A height of between 30 to 40 feet is required. Those operating
on lower frequencies should favor the longer length to maintain
reasonable efficiency.
The tube used for the antenna is NOT supplied with the tuner unit
as the customer is required to supply this. A aluminium tube of
around 38mm is ideal (although not critical ) as it does require
good mechanical strength to stand with just three rope guyes.
